You have the numbers. What decisions do they support?
Accounting shows what has happened. Financial management turns those numbers into a clearer view of what the business should do next.
We assess profitability, compare the options and test the plan before you commit time or money.
When does financial management start to matter?
- revenue is growing, but profit is not
- you do not know the true cost of a product or service
- you are considering an investment, a new market or expansion
- a budget exists, but actual results are not compared against it
- a major decision needs a sound financial case
- you do not yet need a full-time finance director

How we work
- We define the decision or question that needs an answer.
- We agree the data required, the scope of the work and what the final output needs to show.
- We carry out the analysis and set out the conclusions, options and risks.
- We review the findings together and agree the next steps.
Frequently asked questions
What information do you need to begin?
It depends on the question. We usually work with accounting data, budgets, contracts and business plans. You do not need to gather everything before our first conversation.
How long does an analysis take?
A focused analysis takes less time than a complete financial model or expansion plan. Once we have reviewed the task and the data, we agree the scope, deadline and deliverable.
Can this be a one-off project or ongoing support?
Both. We can support one analysis or decision, or act as your longer-term finance partner.
How do you protect company data?
We use your data only for the agreed work and limit access to the fewest people possible. We can sign a confidentiality agreement where needed.
How is the price determined?
The price depends on the complexity of the task, the volume and quality of the data, and whether the work is one-off or ongoing. Our proposal sets out the scope, result, timing where possible, and price.
