We speak the same language

Marketing talks about clicks and reach. Finance talks about cost and profit. Both perspectives matter, but the business leader still has one decision to make.

Enkilar connects financial management and strategic marketing, so that numbers and creativity work towards the same goal.

How Enkilar started

Enkilar’s three founders met on the University of Tartu’s master’s programme in Contemporary Economics. We soon realised that each of us had encountered the same problem from a different angle.

Marketing focuses on growth and experimentation. Finance focuses on cost, risk and profit. Between them sits the business leader, too often forced to translate between the two.

We created Enkilar to remove that disconnect. We bring different practical experience and a shared grounding in economics. Every marketing decision needs a business case; every financial metric should help determine what to do next.

What does Enkilar mean?

The name Enkilar was inspired by the Sumerian deity Enki. Enki was not merely an observer, but a creator of order who gave people the knowledge to organise things better.

For Enkilar, it means combining the insight in financial data with the creativity of marketing. We bring both to the same table and turn complexity into clarity.

How we think

  • Complexity should become clear.
  • Advice should lead to action.
  • Not everything needs to be done.
  • A good partner does not agree with everything.
  • We look at the business as a whole.

Team

Different experience. One shared view.
